Our Equipment

Drain Cleaning

If your sink, bathtub, or other drains are backed up, running slowly or are emitting a bad odor, call the drain cleaning professionals at Aaron’s Plumbing. Our technicians are highly trained and come equipped with the proper tools to inspect and identify the cause of clogged drains. From simple clogs to major repairs, we have the tools and experience to guarantee the job will be done right the first time.

At Aaron’s Plumbing we expertly service kitchen and bathroom sinks, lavatories, toilets, showers and tubs, as well as A/C condensation drains and everything in-between!

Water Pipes & Water Pressure

Whether your pipes are made of galvanized steel, copper or plastic, we work with any material. We have the capabilities to repair or replace sections of the water line permanently, or we can offer lower-cost solutions for water leaks until you’re ready to invest in replacing your pipes or re-piping your home or building. If cost is a concern, we can also re-pipe in sections (e.g. only re-piping the attic or focusing on hot water lines only).

Shower more like a sprinkle? We diagnose and fix water pressure issues, with solutions ranging anywhere from replacing water lines or investigating problems caused by faucets or fixtures. If all fails, the only solution is often to re-pipe in the pipes’ existing location. When this is the case, we highly recommend Pex piping and fittings — expandable plastic tubing that is durable and offers protection for your water pipes, especially from bursting in freezing weather.

Water & Gas Leaks

Water pressure leaks can lead to high water utility bills, as well as foundation issues, mold, and structural damage not visible to the human eye. At Aaron’s Plumbing we utilize special electronic sounding equipment to locate these issues. For drain and sewer line leaks we use our Hydrostatic System or sewer-and-drain camera equipment to detect problem areas.

Natural gas leaks are serious. If ignited, the resulting explosion can cause major property damage and, in some cases, bodily injury or even death. Aaron’s Plumbing has special equipment to locate gas leaks, which facilitates the quick replacement or repair of damaged pipes.

Carbon monoxide gas leaks are extremely dangerous as well. Also called the “silent killer”, carbon monoxide is completely odorless, which makes it difficult to detect. We have the tools to test for, find, and fix a carbon monoxide leak immediately.

Water Heaters

From water heater repairs and installation, to tank-to-tankless conversions, we can make your hot water supply more efficient and reliable. The fact that our repair parts come with a warranty adds a welcome layer of protection to your investment.

At Aaron’s Plumbing, we specialize in converting tank water heaters to tankless varieties and, unlike some of our colleagues around the city, we are willing to go into your attic.

Waiting on hot water too long? We have the ability to give you hot water instantly, on your existing gas or electric tank type water heater, depending on the location of your water heater. This system is even more cost effective than a tank-to-tankless conversion!

It is highly recommended to clean your water heater, including its burners, every 6 months. Don’t forget to ask us about our maintenance service to help extend the life of your water heater.

Plumbing by Tunneling

Aaron’s Plumbing technicians are available to conduct drain and sewer line repairs underneath commercial buildings or residential structures. The majority of drain and sewer line repairs or replacements must happen under buildings, and this is typically done by tunneling from the building’s perimeter to the area in question, below the structure.

In an effort to minimize any disruptions to home life or business operations, we highly recommend line repairs underneath concrete slab through tunneling. We do not recommend cutting, breaking, or pouring new concrete because of the amount of noise it will produce and the debris it will cause. To ensure the integrity of the building, we collaborate with a structural engineer on all tunnel-under-concrete-slab projects.

Backflow Prevention

The number one reason to hire licensed plumbers who participate continuous education is to prevent water contamination in our private and public water supplies for the health and safety of citizens. At Aaron’s Plumbing we undergo ongoing training to stay up-to-date on new procedures, techniques, and innovations.

Without proper backflow prevention, harmful substances like fertilizer or pathogens can enter the drinking water supply. To avoid contamination and possible health threats to your customers and fines for your business, we are here to install backflow prevention systems in a variety of settings and applications: public drinking water dispensers, soda dispensers, coffee makers, hair and nail salons, equipment mechanic shops, car wash facilities, lawn sprinklers, swimming pool fill valves, hose bib vacuum breakers, toilet tanks, and more.

Winterizing

While we all hope that the Houston area won’t see another winter storm like the one Texas experienced in early 2021, it’s always best to be prepared.

Aaron’s Plumbing is available to winterize properties, homes and commercial structures that are vacant or otherwise unoccupied for an extended time period. Winterizing your property will prevent any unexpected flooding resulting from breakage of water pipes due to freezing weather. We also provide and install various protective devices that allow for the automatic shut-off of water pressure, as well as shut-off valves for a wide variety of water-dispensing appliances.

Extreme temperatures — in the lower echelons, that is — are relatively rare in Houston. Still, a little prevention can go a long way in protecting your property.

Inspections

Aaron’s Plumbing is here to conduct your sewer and drain lines inspections! We can inspect drain and sewer lines ranging from 2″ to 6″ diameter pipe size.

Sewer and drain line inspections are needed for a variety of reasons: to check on the source of sewer odors, assess water pressure issues, find clogs and other causes of slow drainage, investigate rattling noises, determine the source of gas or sulfur odors, find where rust originates, and more.

If you need an inspection of the drain lines underneath concrete slab, we recommend doing a complete house or building inspection with our Hydrostatic Test, which enters the drain sewer line system below the concrete slab. We have many options of testing sewer gas odors even above the flooring, plus we have a drain and sewer pipe camera that can see in complete and total darkness to collect measurements and pinpoint obstructions or other issues.
